The sofa isn’t just a piece of furniture. It’s a place of gathering, a spot for you and your friends to exchange tales and you and your significant other to cozy up and watch a quirky romance movie. It’s a part of your memories, which is why you need to choose wisely.
In our review of the Russ Sectional Sofa with an Ottoman from Andover Mills, we aim to give you the dish on this massive sofa, to help you decide whether or not it’s the right choice for you.
Description and Details
The Russ Sectional is an impressive 103.5” in width and comes with ample stretching and storage space. The chaise spreads out over 74.5” and makes it easy to relax after a long day. And with the comfy accompanying ottoman, you’ll never have to fight over who gets the chaise again!
Speaking of the ottoman, did you know it doubles as a storage box, ideal for spare blankets and extra bed linen? It measures 13″H x 35″ W x 23″ D, and it opens on the side so you can store lots of items inside.
The Russ Sectional can be fitted to either corner of the room, coming both with left-hand and right-hand variants, and is easy to match to your existing living room, with 14 different color options, ranging from Dark Gray to Blue Jeans to Walnut. The Russ is upholstered with an interesting blend of microfiber and linen, which gives an interesting contrast, while the foam filling makes it a super-comfy resting spot.
Russ Sectional with Ottoman Reviews
Of course, no review is complete without a word from the customers, so we scoured the Internet for both good and bad reviews of the Russ Sectional. Just to show you what you might like (or dislike!) about it.
- Soft material
- Super-easy to put together
- Sturdy, fits groups easily
- Helps save space
- Easy to clean pet hair off
- Plenty of room to stretch out on.
- So many people had trouble with the seams coming apart after only months of use
- The couch seems to get squeaky rather quickly
- Springs piercing through the fabric (after months of use)
- Color fades quickly
We were so wanting to give this a good review, but honestly, it comes with a hoard of bad reviews, so we’re a bit conflicted about it. Many people seem to have had trouble with the color/fabric/material after less than a year after purchasing, so that doesn’t inspire a whole lot of trust.
What’s the price?
Well, this one’s a point for the Russ, definitely. The sectional with the ottoman costs a pretty impressive $639.99, which is a good price for a sofa this size with chaise and storage space to boot!
Final Thoughts – Is it worth buying?
It’s hard to tell. While this definitely has the potential of being a great couch and the setting for some great memories, we recommend looking through the reviews yourself.
