When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

We take measures to protect the technical information collected by our use of Google Analytics. The data collected will only be used on a need to know basis to resolve technical issues, administer the Site and identify visitor preferences; but in this case, the data will be in non-identifiable form. We do not use any of this information to identify visitors or users.

5 YOUR CHOICES

8 THIRD PARTY COOKIES

8.1 THE FOLLOWING COOKIES ARE USED IN THE SITE:

Cookie name: _cfduid This is a cookie associated with sites using CloudFare, used to speed up page load times. According to CloudFare it is used to override any security restrictions based on the IP address the visitor is coming from. It does not contain any user identification information.

Cookie name: _ga This cookie is associated with Google Analytics. It is used to distinguish unique users by assigning a randomly generated number as a client identifier. It is included in each page request in a site and used to calculate visitor, session and campaign data for the sites analytics report.

Cookie name: _skimlinks When clicking on certain external links within Trendyhomeinteriors.com, the user’s browser establishes a link to a Skimlinks server before the user is directed to the actual link target address. During this, Skimlinks can collect various data, in particular the IP address of the user. Additionally, Skimlinks places a cookie on the reader’s device that is able to confirm if the reader makes a purchase from the retailer’s website. Skimlinks then attributes a commission from the sale to Trendyhomeinteriors. Skimlinks collects, stores and uses data about: the website that users visit if these contain affiliate links, the affiliate links the users click on, and whether they make a purchase.
